Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications. Provided are a communication management method and apparatus. In the method, an information update may be sent to a first network element by means of a server, wherein the information update comprises a communication mode parameter for at least one user equipment (UE), the communication mode parameter comprising at least one of mobility information and electric quantity information of the UE, and the communication mode parameter being used for assisting a network in carrying out communication management on the UE. By means of the solution of the present disclosure, an AS can provide UE mobility information and/or UE electric quantity information to a core network by means of an SCEF, and a network performs communication management and control on a UE on this basis, such that the flexibility of UE communication control is enhanced.
