Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and device and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises: receiving an uplink data transmission threshold from a first network device, the uplink data transmission threshold comprising a first transmission threshold and a second transmission threshold or comprising a second transmission threshold, the first transmission threshold being used for indicating a maximum data packet size supported for transmission on a first uplink carrier by the terminal device in a disconnected state, and the second transmission threshold being used for indicating a maximum data packet size supported for transmission on a supplementary uplink (SUL) carrier by the terminal device in the disconnected state; and determining, according to the uplink data transmission threshold and the size of an uplink data packet to be transmitted, to transmit the uplink data packet on the first uplink carrier or the SUL carrier in the disconnected state. By means of the technical solution provided by the present application, an uplink data packet can be quickly transmitted under the introduction of a SUL scenario.
