Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a communication method, apparatus, and system, relating to the field of communications. The method comprises: a first optical network unit ONU, by means of a first port comprised therein, receives a management packet from a management network and, by means of a second port comprised therein, receives a service packet from a metropolitan area network, the management packet belonging to a management service, and the service packet belonging to a user service; the first ONU generates a data frame, the data frame comprising the packet data in the management packet; the first ONU converts the data frame into a first optical signal of a first wavelength and converts the service packet into a second optical signal of a second wavelength, the first wavelength and the second wavelength being different; and the first ONU sends the first optical signal and the second optical signal to a second ONU. The present application can prevent the normal transmission of a management service from being affected.
