Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a communication method, apparatus, and system. The method comprises: obtaining first information, wherein the first information comprises the information of a first cell; and transmitting the first information to a terminal device by means of a second cell, wherein the first cell is in a sleep state, the first cell corresponds to a first access network device, the second cell corresponds to a second access network device, and the information of the first cell is used for instructing the terminal device to transmit a wakeup signal used for waking up the first cell. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce the wakeup delay of a sleeping cell.
