Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications. Provided are a communication method, an apparatus, and a system. The method comprises: a network element receives from a controller configuration information and information of a first node, determines an identifier of a terminal device according to the information of the first node, determines first demand information according to the configuration parameter information, and sends to a policy control function network element the first demand information, the first demand information being used for adjusting a session of the terminal device, the configuration information comprising a parameter for configuring a flow, the flow being a flow between the terminal device and a second node, and the first node being a node between the terminal device and the second node for transmitting the flow. In this way, the network element analyzes the configuration information and the information of the first node into the first demand information and the identifier of the terminal device which can be identified by the policy control function network element, so that the policy control function network element can specifically adjust the session of the terminal device according to the demands and features of the flow, thereby improving the flow transmission quality.
