Abstract:
The present application discloses a communication method and apparatus, a terminal, a network device, and a medium. The communication method in embodiments of the present application comprises: a UE sends a first request message to a network device, the first request message comprising capability limitation information of the UE, and the capability limitation information being used for limiting a target capability of the UE; and the UE limits the target capability of the UE. The target capability comprises at least one of the following: a secondary cell (SCell)-related capability, and a secondary cell group (SCG)-related capability.
