Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure are a communication method and apparatus, a user equipment, a base station, a core network device and a storage medium, belonging to the technical field of communication. The method comprises: a relay UE determining an activation state of a UP security policy of a first link between itself and a base station, and, on the basis of the activation state of the UP security policy of the first link, activating UP security of a second link between the relay UE and a remote UE. The method provided in the present disclosure ensures end-to-end security of communication between a remote UE and a base station, and increases communication security.
