Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method comprises: a terminal device receives first instruction information sent by a network device, the first instruction information being used for instructing the terminal device to delete first data from a cache, the first data being sent by the network device to the terminal device and stored in a first cache space in the cache, and the first data being not submitted to an application layer of the terminal device yet; the terminal device deletes the first data from the cache according to the first instruction information, and the terminal device receives second data sent by the network device and stores a part or all of the second data in the first cache space. Therefore, communication and control may not be affected when the cache of the terminal device is too small.
