Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and apparatus. According to said method, a network device may send a first message to a terminal apparatus, the first message being used to instruct the terminal apparatus to perform BWP handover; and the network device may send scheduling information to the terminal apparatus within a first duration after sending the first message, the scheduling information being used to schedule data of the terminal apparatus. By means of the described method, a network device can continue to schedule uplink and downlink data of a terminal within a first duration after sending BWP handover signaling to the terminal, and therefore the duration in which the terminal cannot transmit data due to lack of data scheduling in a BWP handover process can be shortened, thereby reducing the waste of transmission resources.
