Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and apparatus. The method may comprise: a terminal device determining height information, wherein a first parameter is relevant to the height information; the terminal device receiving configuration information from a first network device, wherein the configuration information comprises a corresponding relation between the height information and the first parameter; and according to the height information, the terminal device determining the first parameter corresponding to the terminal device, wherein the first parameter comprises one or more of a tracking area parameter, a radio access network notification area parameter, a cell selection or reselection parameter and a measurement configuration parameter. By means of the described method, configuration information corresponding to the height of an unmanned aerial vehicle itself is provided, thus guaranteeing that an unmanned aerial vehicle terminal device located at high altitude can obtain effective configuration parameters, and improving the experience of users at different heights.
