Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and provides a communication method and apparatus. In the method, a terminal establishes an RRC connection with a first access network device in a first frequency band, and when a time domain resource occupied by data to be sent to the first access network device and a time domain resource occupied by a preamble to be sent to a second access network device overlap, the terminal determines a first TA used when sending the preamble to the second access network device, and sends the preamble to the second access network device by using the first TA in a second frequency band, the first TA being greater than 0, thereby preventing the time domain resource occupied by the preamble and the time domain resource occupied by the data from overlapping too much, and avoiding interference, and improving the success rate of network access. The network systems of the first access network device and second access network device are different, and the first frequency band and the second frequency band overlap.
