Abstract:
Provided are a communication method and apparatus, which are used for determining a transmission process under a preemption mechanism. The method may comprise: a first device sending a block acknowledgement request frame to a second device, wherein the block acknowledgement request frame is used for requesting the second device sending a block acknowledgement frame, and the block acknowledgement frame is used for indicating a reception situation of an access control layer protocol data unit of first transmission, wherein the first transmission is suspended at a first moment, and the first moment is earlier than a transmission end moment in the case that the first transmission is not suspended; the first device receiving the block acknowledgement frame; and the first device starting to perform second transmission at a second moment, wherein the transmission priority of the second transmission is higher than the transmission priority of the first transmission, and a second moment is later than a transmission end moment of the block acknowledgement frame. In the embodiments of the present application, a second device is triggered by means of a block acknowledgement request frame, so as to send a block acknowledgement frame, and second transmission is started after the block acknowledgement frame is received, such that an acknowledgement frame of first transmission can be prevented from conflicting with the second transmission.
