Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method, the method comprising: a first network element receiving an intention mode, the intention mode comprising configuration information and consumer information, the configuration information being used for specifying syntax or semantics of an intention expression, the intention expression being used for carrying an intention, and the consumer information being used for indicating permission of an intention consumer for the intention mode; the first network element saving the intention mode. Therefore, when faced with a new intention scenario, the first network element may dynamically expand to adapt to the intention mode of the scenario, and by means of saving the consumer information, indicate the permission of the intention consumer for the intention mode, so that a system comprising the first network element may support a consumer verification function, and system security is improved.
