Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and apparatus, which may solve the problem of an actual transmitter index of a terminal device having a large phase difference relative to an expected transmitter index, and can be applied to 4G systems, 5G systems, and future communication systems such as 6G systems. The method comprises: a terminal device receives calibration indication information from a network device, wherein the calibration indication information instructs the terminal device to calibrate a transmitter index of the terminal device at a calibration interval; and the terminal device transmits a first transmission signal, wherein a transmitter index of the first transmission signal meets the calibrated transmitter index. Thus, when the actual transmitter index deviates from the expected transmitter index, the terminal device can promptly calibrate the transmitter index according to the indication of the network device, so that the difference between the calibrated transmitter index and the expected transmitter index is reduced or even eliminated, thereby improving the transmission rate and transmission reliability of the terminal device.
