Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, the first indication information being used for indicating that first time-frequency resources do not carry a demodulation reference signal (DMRS), or that time-frequency resources corresponding to some frequency domain resources in first time-frequency resources do not carry a DMRS, and the terminal device receiving a data signal on the first time-frequency resources; the terminal device obtains DMRS information associated with the data signal, and demodulates the data signal according to the DMRS information. In the method provided by the present application, the indication information is used for indicating that the first time-frequency resources do not carry a DMRS, or that time-frequency resources corresponding to some frequency domain resources in the first time-frequency resources do not carry a DMRS, thereby realizing flexible configuration of the DMRS, reducing the overhead of the DMRS, saving resources for data transmission, and improving the efficiency of data transmission.
