Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a communication method and apparatus, by means of which accurate distance range measurement can be performed while also realizing communication. The communication apparatus comprises a first attenuation circuit, a switching circuit and a processing circuit, wherein the first attenuation circuit is used for reducing the power of a distance measurement signal received by an antenna, so as to obtain a first attenuation signal, wherein the distance measurement signal is sent by a terminal device; a first end of the switching circuit is connected to the processing circuit; when a second end of the switching circuit is connected to the antenna, the processing circuit is used for processing a communication signal received by the antenna; when the second end of the switching circuit is connected to the first attenuation circuit, the processing circuit is used for processing the first attenuation signal, so as to obtain a first bit error rate of the first attenuation signal, and the processing circuit is further used for processing the first communication signal received by the antenna, wherein the first communication signal is sent by the terminal device; and the processing circuit is further used for determining the range of the distance between a vehicle and the terminal device according to the first bit error rate.
