Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application disclose a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method comprises: a first access network device receives first indication information from a second access network device, the first indication information indicating that the first access network device sends a first reconfiguration message after or before sending first candidate primary secondary cell information to the second access network device, and the first candidate primary secondary cell information indicating one or more first candidate primary secondary cells accepted by a third access network device among candidate primary secondary cells that the second access network device requests the third access network device to add; and the first access network device sends the first reconfiguration message to a terminal device according to the first indication information. Thus, the problem that the second access network device does not know whether to send the first reconfiguration message before sending the first candidate primary secondary cell information or to send the first reconfiguration message after sending the first candidate primary secondary cell information is solved, so that a CPC process can be normally executed.
