Abstract:
A communication method and apparatus, for use in a terminal device determining whether monitored DCI is PDCCH repetition or PDCCH independent transmission. A network device determines first configuration information according to a first condition, and sends the first configuration information to a first terminal device, the first configuration information comprising information instructing the first terminal device to monitor a candidate PDCCH on the basis of a time span, and configuration information of a first candidate PDCCH and a second candidate PDCCH, the first condition being that the first candidate PDCCH and the second candidate PDCCH do not satisfy at least one of time-frequency resources being the same, scrambling code sequences being the same, control resource sets being the same, and DCI load size being the same; the first candidate PDCCH and the second candidate PDCCH being located in the same time span in a time slot other than a first time span, the first candidate PDCCH being used for independent transmission, and the second candidate PDCCH being any one of associated candidate PDCCHs used for repetition.
