Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present application is a communication method, used for optimizing a channel access parameter. The method comprises: a first station sends a request frame to an access point, the request frame being used for requesting to obtain a channel priority access right, the request frame carrying a first parameter set, and the first parameter set comprising an MU EDCA parameter to be used by the first station for channel contention; and receiving a response frame for the request frame. The first station is an EPCS station, and the first station performs channel access by using an MU EDCA mechanism. In the embodiments of the present application, the first parameter set comprises the MU EDCA parameter to be used by the first station for channel contention, and by sending the request frame carrying the first parameter set, channel contention is performed by means of the parameter having a higher channel access priority.
