Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and apparatus. The method may comprise: a terminal device acquiring first indication information, wherein the first indication information indicates at least one multicast key transmission process, each multicast key transmission process is a communication process which is supported by a network side and is used for transmitting a multicast key to the terminal device, and the multicast key is a secure transmission key of a multicast session between the terminal device and a first content distribution network element; and the terminal device acquiring service data from a core network on the basis of the support condition of the terminal device for the at least one multicast key transmission process. By means of the solution of the present application, the possibility of a terminal device acquiring service data can be improved.
