Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus, for use in reducing the implementation complexity of a polar code so as to improve communication efficiency. In the method, a sending end obtains information to be encoded, wherein said information comprises k bits, k being a positive integer; the sending end determines that the number of code blocks is C, C being a positive integer; the sending end performs polar encoding on said information on the basis of C to obtain C encoded code blocks; and the sending end sends the C encoded code blocks. In some implementations, the sending end determines, on the basis of k and a target code rate, that the number of the code blocks is C. In some implementations, the sending end obtains the C encoded code blocks on the basis of a code block coupling mode. In some implementations, the sending end sends the C encoded code blocks on the basis of a first circular buffer and a second circular buffer.
