Abstract:
The present application relates to a communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: modulating first data, so as to obtain a first UWB frame, wherein the first data comprises a plurality of bits, and the first UWB frame comprises one or more modulation symbols, a first modulation symbol being any one of the one or more modulation symbols, the first modulation symbol being used for representing M bits from among the plurality of bits, the first modulation symbol comprising pulse signals of K frequencies, M being an integer greater than or equal to 2, and K being an integer less than or equal to M and greater than or equal to 0; and sending the first UWB frame. M is greater than or equal to 2, which is equivalent to the fact that in the embodiments of the present application, the number of bits represented by a modulation symbol can be increased, such that more data can be transmitted within the same time, thereby improving the peak data rate of a UWB signal.
