Abstract:
A communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device receives an association relationship between a plurality of SSBs and a plurality of RS resources from a network device, the association relationship between the plurality of SSBs and the plurality of RS resources comprising an association relationship between a second SSB and the RS resources; if the terminal device switches from a first SSB to the second SSB, the terminal device determines, according to the association relationship between the second SSB and the RS resources, an RS resource associated with the second SSB; and the terminal device receives an RS from the network device according to the RS resource associated with the second SSB. According to embodiments of the present application, according to a pre-received association relationship, a terminal device can determine an RS resource associated with a second SSB. Thus, on one hand, signaling interactions between a terminal device and a network device can be reduced, thereby saving resources and reducing the probability of channel congestion; on the other hand, the delay for the terminal device to acquire an RS resource is reduced, thereby improving the communication efficiency.
