Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. A terminal receives a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel block (SSB). The SSB may carry configuration information for determining a time domain position of a search space containing scheduling information of a first system information block (SIB). The first SIB is an SIB other than an SIB1, and is used to carry information related to random access of the terminal. The terminal can determine the time domain position of the search space containing the scheduling information of the first SIB according to first configuration information. According to the above solution, the terminal can monitor and receive the scheduling information of the first SIB and the first SIB without having to obtain the SIB1 first, so that access delay of the terminal can be reduced.
