Abstract:
The present application relates to a communication method and a device. An access network device receives first information from a first core network device, the first information being used for indicating that a first terminal device has an association with at least one repeating installation. The access network device provides access network service for the first terminal device by controlling a first repeating installation, the first repeating installation being one of the at least one repeating installation. In embodiments of the present application, a repeating installation and a terminal device may have an association, an access network device can also know the association between the repeating installation and the terminal device, and thus the access network device can schedule the repeating installation to serve the terminal device associated with the repeating installation. In this way, the repeating installation can serve a specific user, the application rationality of the repeating installation is improved, and the requirements of the user are also met.
