Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a communication method and a related communication apparatus, and a medium and a chip. The communication method comprises: a first device sending a first message to a second device, wherein the first message comprises a measurement configuration, and the measurement configuration is used for indicating, to the second device, at least one resource to be measured; the first device receiving, from the second device, a monitoring result for said at least one resource, wherein the monitoring result is used for indicating an idle state or a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of said at least one resource; and the first device sending a signal at least on the basis of the monitoring result. In this way, a sending device can indicate, to a receiving device, a physical resource to be measured, and the receiving device can monitor said physical resource and send a monitoring result to the sending device. Therefore, the sending device can determine, on the basis of the monitoring result from the receiving device, whether to send a signal to the receiving device.
