Abstract:
The present application discloses a communication method and a related apparatus, relating to the field of communications. In the method, transmission state information of a SL can be obtained, and a packet duplication function of the SL is activated or deactivated according to the transmission state information of the SL. Thus, the packet duplication function can be flexibly activated according to the transmission state information of the SL, so that the reliability of data transmission is improved, or the packet duplication function is flexibly deactivated according to the transmission state information of the SL, so that the data transmission efficiency is improved, and the waste of transmission resources is reduced.
