Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and a related apparatus, which can reduce interferences among codewords having different lengths, and reduce the complexity of receivers. The method comprises: according to a target codeword, a terminal device spreads data to be transmitted, so as to obtain spread data, the target codeword being determined from K codebooks, each codebook among the K codebooks comprising at least one codeword, the codewords in each codebook having the same length, the codeword lengths of any two codebooks among the K codebooks being different, the codeword length of any one codebook among remaining K-1 codebooks except a first codebook among the K codebooks being a positive integer multiple of the codeword length of the first codebook, the first codebook being a codebook having the shortest codeword length among the K codebooks, and K being an integer greater than 1; and the terminal device sends the spread data to a network device, and the network device despreads the spread data on the basis of the target codeword.
