Abstract:
A communication method for a smart household appliance, and a smart household appliance; the smart household appliance is provided with a first wireless communication module and a second wireless communication module that employ different communication protocols, and the communication method comprises: starting up a first wireless communication module, and using the first wireless communication module to attempt to connect to a communication target device; detecting the connection state of the first wireless communication module; determining whether the first wireless communication module is in an abnormal state; if so, starting up a second wireless communication module, and using the second wireless communication module to connect to the communication target device. The described communication method may automatically switch to the second wireless communication module when the first wireless communication module has a bad signal or is unable to connect, which improves the connection success rate between the smart household appliance and the communication target device, and improves the usage experience of a user.
