Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a communication method, a terminal device and a network device. The method comprises: a first terminal device receiving downlink control information (DCI) transmitted by a network device, wherein the DCI indicates demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration parameters comprising at least one of a DMRS type, a pattern used to transmit DMRSs by one or more terminal devices, or resource overheads incurred as a result of transmitting the DMRSs by the one or more terminal devices, wherein the one or more terminal devices include the first terminal device; and the first terminal device transmitting the DMRS to the network device on the basis of the DMRS configuration parameters. The communication method, the terminal device and the network device provided in the embodiments of the present invention can realize reduction of resource overheads incurred when transmitting DMRSs while supporting DMRS orthogonality for more users.
