Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a communication method, a transceiver, a relay device, a communication system, and a program, whereby high-speed communications can be implemented between two points separated underwater, even if an obstacle is present between the two points. This communication method confirms mutual positions by using sound wave communications, the sound waves being easily diffracted as waves because of the relatively short frequency and large wavelength. This communication method uses optical wireless communications for which rectilinearity is high but high-speed communication is possible, and therefore, a relay that can form a path by which an obstacle can be avoided and communication can be implemented can be selected from among a plurality of relay devices. With the communication method according to the present invention, a relay device in the path is used, and signals are transmitted and received by using optical wireless communication.
