Abstract:
Provided are communication methods, communication devices, and core network devices. A communication method comprises: a first device receiving a first message sent by a core network device, wherein the first message is used for instructing the first device to execute positioning measurements, and the positioning measurements comprise multiple measurements corresponding to different moments. The method of performing positioning on a terminal device by means of performing multiple measurements at different moments has no requirement for the number of access network devices participating in positioning. Thus, the limitation on the number of access network devices participating in positioning in a conventional joint positioning measurement method is avoided, the application scenarios for terminal device positioning are expanded, and the success rate of terminal device positioning can be improved.
