Abstract:
The present invention is a communication processing system which reduces power consumption in remote UE that is related to the measurement of reception signal strength. This communication processing system is equipped with: a communication terminal; a base station; a relay station which relays communication between the communication terminal and the base station; a measurement unit which measures the reception signal strength from the relay station in the communication terminal; and a control unit which performs control such that reselection of the relay station is performed in cases in which the measured reception signal strength is less than a first threshold, and the number of times the reception signal strength is measured by the measurement unit is reduced in cases in which the measured reception signal strength, upon being compared to a second threshold that is larger than the first threshold, is greater than said second threshold.
