Abstract:
The invention relates to a communication system for an agricultural machine and to an agricultural machine having such a communication system. The invention further relates to a method for producing such an agricultural machine. The communication system (2) for an agricultural machine (1) comprises a main control apparatus (4) which is in the form of a central computing and control unit for controlling machine functions such as, preferably, the positionally accurate switching on and off of distribution and processing processes, and at least one auxiliary operating component (5) which is designed to carry out, according to control data from the main control apparatus (4) and/or independently, an operating function assigned to said component. In order to transmit and/or receive data via an ethernet data network (3) when machine functions are being controlled, the main control apparatus (4) and the at least one auxiliary operating component (5) each have at least one ethernet interface (6) for connection to the ethernet data network (3).
