Abstract:
A communication system (100) comprising a plurality of parent station devices constituting a ring-shaped network, characterized in that the plurality of parent station devices include a master device (master OLT) (10) which is connected to a higher-level device and a plurality of slave devices (slave OLTs) (20-1 to 20-3) which are parent station devices other than the master device (master OLT) (10), and have a delay measurement unit for measuring, for each frame priority, a delay time between the master device (master OLT) (10) and each of the plurality of slave devices (slave OLTs) (20-1 to 20-3) during a bypass operation to change a communication path when abnormality has occurred to the ring-shaped network.
