Abstract:

A wireless base station device (200) comprises a PDCP buffer unit (240) which temporarily stores data transmitted from a core network device (300) in order to transmit the data to a mobile station device (100). A data measurement unit (231) measures the volume of data stored in the PDCP buffer unit (240). A congestion state assessment unit (232) assesses whether or not the PDCP buffer unit (240) is in the congestion state, on the basis of the measured value of the data volume measured by the data measurement unit (231). The core network device (300) comprises a transmission data accumulation unit (340) which stores data which is to be transmitted to the wireless base station device (200). A transmission/reception unit (220) transmits the data stored in the transmission data accumulation unit (340) to the wireless base station device (200), on the basis of the assessment result by the congestion state assessment unit (232). Thereby, loss of data transmitted between communication devices can be reduced.
