Abstract:

Provided is a device that performs processing for guaranteeing protection of a protection system in a case where a communication device, such as an access point, that executes wireless communication determines the frequency or the like to be used in said wireless communication. A communication system according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a plurality communication devices that execute wireless communication by using a frequency of a specified frequency band; and an information processing device that records information relating to interference by the plurality of communication devices with respect to a protection system in the specified frequency band. Each of the communication devices estimates wireless communication interference with respect to the protection system by executing, prior to the execution of wireless communication, a single interference estimation for the protection system. In addition, the communication devices execute wireless communication if an interference limit value for the protection system is not exceeded by the sum of: the cumulative interference, obtained from the information, with respect to the protection system by the plurality of communication devices prior to the execution of single interference estimation; and the interference estimated by the execution of the single interference estimation.
