Abstract:
Provided are a communication system to reduce the calculation load of an elevator for encrypting communications, a key exchange terminal, an elevator, a remote monitoring server, and a communication program. In the communication system (1), a first symmetric key (K1) is generated on the basis of the movement of a car (7) measured by an elevator (2) having the car (7). In a key exchange terminal (20) that moves with the car (7), a second symmetric key (K2) is generated on the basis of the movement of the key exchange terminal (20) measured simultaneously with the measurement of the movement by the elevator (2). The second symmetric key (K2) is transmitted from the key exchange terminal (20) via a secure second communication route (27) to a remote monitoring server (21). The data transmitted between the elevator (2) and the remote monitoring server (21) is encrypted by the symmetric key encryption method using either the first symmetric key (K1) or the second symmetric key (K2).
