Abstract:
A PCRF (4) stores, for each type of device, a policy rule management table associated with a policy rule, acquires a device type to which the policy rule is to be applied and a device ID assigned to the device, determines the policy rule corresponding to the acquired type of a device (2), and instructs a DPI to apply the determined policy rule to the device corresponding to the acquired device ID. The DPI (5) acquires the device ID assigned to the device to which the policy rule is to be applied, thereby performing control by applying the instructed policy rule to communication from the device (2) corresponding to the device ID to which instruction is to be made by the PCRF (4).
