Abstract:
[Problem] To shorten the communication time by quickly establishing a communication using appropriate communication conditions with no direct notification of the existence of a user terminal provided from the user terminal to an access point.
[Solution] A communication system comprises: a user terminal 1; an access point 2 that transmits/receives user data to/from the user terminal; a cellular base station 3 that assists the communication between the user terminal and the access point; and a control server 4. The user terminal comprises a cellular communication unit 13 that transmits position information of the user terminal to the control server via the cellular base station. The control server comprises: a control unit 52 that generates communication control information on the basis of the position information of the user terminal; and a network communication unit 51 that transmits notification information including the communication control information to the access point. The access point comprises a beam control unit 42 that controls the beams of the wireless communication with the user terminal on the basis of the communication control information.
