Abstract:

The objective of this invention is to provide a communication system enabling easy selection of a group communication in which to participate midway. A communication system (1) according to this disclosure comprises a communication terminal (10), and a server (20 that controls group communications among a plurality of communication terminals (10). Each of the communication terminals (10) includes: an acquisition unit (11) that acquires information relating to a group communication which has already been started among the plurality of communication terminals (10), and which is in an unanswered state due to no answer at the time the group communication was started; a selection unit (12) that selects, on the basis of the acquired information, one group communication from among at least one group communication serving as a participation candidate; and a transmission unit (13) that transmits, to the server (20), a request to participate in the selected group communication. The server (20) includes a participation acceptance unit (21) that accepts the participation of the communication terminal (10) into the selected group communication.
