Abstract:
A communication system (100), in which, for each of cells (121, 122), a common pilot signal to wireless terminals (131, 132) of the cell in question is transmitted with a first timing (t1) at a frequency (f1, f2) based on identification information about the cell in question. A wireless base station (111) transmits the common pilot signal with the first timing (t1) and transmits an individual pilot signal to the wireless terminal (131) of the cell in question (121) and a control signal to the wireless terminal (131) of the cell in question (121) at different frequencies (f1 to f3) with a second timing (t2) different from the first timing (t1). In the wireless terminal (131), the control signal transmitted by the wireless base station (111) is demodulated on the basis of the individual pilot signal transmitted by the wireless base station (111).
