Abstract:
A detection section (112) detects a traveling speed, and when a determination
section (113) determines that the traveling speed is not more than a predetermined
level, a transmission section (114) sends a request for transmission of video
information on the periphery of the leading end point of a segment of traffic congestion.
A receiving section (115) receives the video information, and a display section
(111) displays the video information on its display screen. Also, in an oncoming
vehicle, when a receiving section (124) receives a transmission request, video
information that is video of the periphery and is inputted by an input section
(121) is stored in a storage section (122). Then, based on traffic information
acquired by an acquisition section (123), a specifying section (125) specifies
the leading end point of the traffic congestion. An extraction section (126)
extracts, from the video information stored in the storage section (122), video
information relating to the leading end point specified by the specifying section
(125), and a transmission section (127) transmits the result.
