Abstract:
A communication terminal having built-in communication and/or reception means in a substantial rectangular body. The body includes a straight side and a protruding portion extending from the side. The protruding portion is provided with a single lever that is movable back and forth. The lever forms a part of an operation mechanism for inputting and/or switching the communication and/or reception means. Inputting and/or switching to and/or of the communication and/or reception means can be made only by moving the lever in one direction or the other. The lever comprises a rotatable member disposed on the main body, and the operation mechanism for inputting and/or switching the communication and/or reception means further includes a switch mechanism controlled by the rotatable member. In this way, the size of the mechanism can be reduced.
