Abstract:
A communication terminal comprises: a first receiving unit that receives a communication signal in a first communication system; a second receiving unit that receives a communication signal in a second communication system; a monitor mode selecting unit that selects any one of a plurality of monitor modes having different periods in which to activate the second receiving unit; an activation control unit that activates the second receiving unit in accordance with a monitor mode selected by the monitor mode selecting unit when the first receiving unit has received a communication signal including first warning information; and a user interface unit that provides the user with second warning information extracted from a communication signal received by the second receiving unit.
