Abstract:

This communications device comprises a reception unit that receives prescribed information from a base station. The prescribed information indicates a correlation between identification information for identifying multicast data and area identification information for identifying a geographical area. The reception unit receives prescribed multicast data from the base station, on the basis of the prescribed information. The prescribed multicast data includes data from another communications device within a first area in which this communications device is positioned.
