Abstract:
This component confirmation device captures an image of a component before picking the component arranged in a pallet and confirms the component on the basis of the captured image of the component. A period from a time when the picking of a target component, which is at least one component that is to be picked at one time by a mounting head which picks a component and mounts the component on a substrate, is started, to a time when the target component is mounted on the substrate is set as a pick-and-place cycle. At this point, the component confirmation device comprises a movement unit which moves, for each pick-and-place cycle if necessary, a target apparatus, which is one among a pallet and a lighting device that lights the target component when imaging the target component, to the other among the lighting device and the pallet.
