Abstract:
In order to perform a component resupply operation efficiently, the component container storage device according to the present invention is provided with: a storage unit in which a plurality of component containers accommodating components are stored; a moving unit for selectively moving, from the storage unit to a shipping position, a component container accommodating a component of which resupply to a component mounting device is being demanded; a status acquiring unit which acquires status information indicating an operation situation; and a storage-side communication unit which transmits the status information acquired by the status acquiring unit to an external device provided at a distance from the shipping position, thus notifying the external device of the operation situation.
