Abstract:
A component extraction device is provided with a rack mounting unit, a heater, extraction medium supply unit, a needle assembly, and a temperature sensor. The rack mounting unit has container racks that hold a plurality of sample containers mounted thereon, and the heater is provided on the rack mounting unit. When container racks are mounted on the rack mounting unit, the heater is directly or indirectly contacts the sample containers held on the container racks and heats sample containers. The needle assembly holds a needle, which is for connecting a flow path by the tip thereof being inserted into a needle port provided in the upper surface of a sample container, such that the tip of the needle is pointed downward, and moves the needle in the vertical direction and in a direction within the horizontal plane. The temperature sensor is provided in the needle assembly and detects the temperature on the upper surface of the sample container when the tip of the needle is inserted into the needle port of the sample container.
