Abstract:
This component mounting apparatus is provided with: a first dolly to which a first type of tape feeder can be attached but a second type of tape feeder different in type from the first type of tape feeder cannot be attached, or a second dolly to which the second type of tape feeder can be attached but the first type of tape feeder cannot be attached; a base having a dolly linking unit for selectively linking one of the first dolly and the second dolly; and a mounting head which is provided on the base to pick up a component which is supplied from the first type of tape feeder attached to the first dolly linked to the dolly linking unit, or from the second type of tape feeder attached to the second dolly linked to the dolly linking unit, the mounting head mounting the component to a substrate positioned with respect to the base.
